Hi! I’m Crystal and I’m a full-time freelance copywriter for entrepreneurs who want to stand out from the pack.
I’m a mommy of two and, quite honestly, they’re my “why”. I want to be a mom who is present for them but can still provide them with all of their heart’s desires!
#momguilt had its grip on me and it wouldn’t let me go after I had my daughter Mia.
I wanted so badly to find a way to stay home with her and still support our family. So I tried two different MLM companies (they can work, they just weren’t right for me).
So I went back to work and enjoyed it as much as I could, but I still always felt guilty dropping her off. I’d text my babysitter to check on her during my breaks and scroll through pictures of her whenever I could.
I was a little neurotic but I came from a small town (just over 2,000 people in population) to a HUGE city (Houston, TX).
It wasn’t healthy, but it’s what I did.
The mommy guilt calmed down and I eventually found a good balance (some days even enjoyed my little time to myself *gasp!*).
But I never stopped looking for an alternative. My dream job – if you will.
So, two and a half years later I had my little boy, Yadiel.
Going back to work wouldn’t have made sense with childcare costs – so my wish was about to come true – I’d get to stay home with my babies! Eeeek!
I came across a course on how to make a living doing something I loved – writing – from home – meaning a schedule around my munchkins.
Is this reality? #pinchme
It is! This is my real life. I get to help other business owners grow their businesses and sales by writing conversion copy and get to make my own schedule.
(Now when I get out it’s a relief. IYKYK.)
